Sigma Integrale AMBU bag actuator

Sigma Integrale LLC, took on the challenge of creating a low cost automated AMBU bag actuator. The automated AMBU bag actuator system is under $1500 and can be constructed with simple 80/20 extruded profile, a micro-controller, some simple switches, motor and power unit. The integration is simple and robust and focused around our inhouse USA-Made bronze lead-screw actuator and motor combination. The buttons allow for multiple settings such as infant, child and adult strokes and three additional rates of respiration.

The research, design and build took a little over 2 week to put together and integrate with available materials around our lab. This is not an FDA approved respirator or device, but just a robust automated bag depressor.
