Sigma 2-HP | High Payload

The Sigma 2-HP motion system is our compact OEM motion solution with 2" or 50mm of travel for high travel simulation applications just like our Sigma Two+ professional home system. The compact nature of the actuator allows for much easier integration of the unit for low travel but high mass applications or to integrate the actuator with rod end to rod end solutions for various simulation projects. The system uses specialized High Power motors with cooling and three additional power supplies to achieve a maximum weight limit of 1200 lbs. (540 kg) or 400 lbs. (180 kg) more than the standard Sigma Two+ system.

The system shares the same design and construction as our industrial-grade Sigma X motion systems used in our full motion vehicle and platform simulators. Additionally, Sigma 2-HP, like all other Sigma products is mechanically and electrically engineered around our unique motion algorithm to provide the most realistic and representative vehicle motion feedback with no pre-recorded canned effects.

The Sigma 2-HP is designed for custom OEM integrators and ships with all the additional components required to move 50% more mass than the Sigma Two+ variant. The Sigma HP system requires two (x2) dedicated 20A or four (x4) dedicated 15A circuits to meet full payload potential. Each Sigma HP system also comes with motor fans that snap and hold onto the top of the motor. The fans are either USB or DC voltage powered.

The Sigma 2-HP is also engineered with a solid steel piston and special dry run bearings for exceptional side loading capability and comes with both standard and extended brackets.
